Ich möchte euch diese Bücher hier vorstellen, weil ich sie selbst verschlungen habe und von ihnen regelrecht begeistert war.
Eigentlich ist das Thema recht klassisch / kitschig. Vampire, Werwölfe, Menschen und Krieg.
Aber auch ein klassisches Thema kann man wunderbar aufbereiten, so wie Stephenie Meyer. Bella zieht neu nach Forks und lernt in der Schule den mysteriösen Edward kennen. Es dauert nicht lange, bis sie sein Geheimnis entdeckt - er ist ein Vampir. Doch Bella fürchtet sich nicht, sondern ist fasziniert - am Anfang sehr zum Leidwesen Edwards, denn er ist eine Gefahr für sie. Dennoch entwickelt sich zwischen den beiden eine innige Beziehung, die sich durch viele Gespräche zwischen beiden wunderbar fortentwickelt.
Doch dann begeht Edward einen folgenschweren Fehler und plötzlich ist da Jacob, der Bella auffängt und ebenfalls Gefühle für sie entwickelt.
Wie es anders sein kann, hasst Edward Jacob und Jacob Edward. Bella muss sich entscheiden.
Liebe, Freundschaft, Loyalität und Vertrauen, all das hat Stephenie Meyer gefühlvoll und spannend in ihren Büchern untergebracht.
Von mir also beide Daumen hoch!

Ich selbst habe die Bücher auf Englisch gelesen, weil mir die Originale immer besser gefallen, es gibt sie aber auch auf Deutsch. Ich habe euch mal die Klappentexte dazu geschrieben.
Die Serie wird vier Bücher umfassen, das vierte und letzte wird im August veröffentlicht.
